The Mount Joy Lions Swim Team is excited to welcome Layne Sherk as Head Coach!

Swimming since 5 years old, Layne has swam for Willowood, EAC, Mount Joy, and EAHS, Layne brings more than a decade of experience coaching, teaching swim lessons, and mentoring swimmers of all ages and abilities.

She has coached at Willowood, EAHS, and Lancaster Country Club, and is passionate about building strong relationships with swimmers while helping them achieve personal bests.

Layne and her husband Jake have three boys—Christian, Jackson, and Logan—and enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and playing games together.

Layne encourages swimmers to always keep improving, work hard, and enjoy the journey both in and out of the pool.
